A sheer lightweight fabric, our 3.5mm Silk Gauze Chiffon is fine and transparent, yet durable.  Often seen in overlays for evening gowns.  Makes wonderful shawls and scarves where a flowing look is desired. 

We stock silk gauze in natural only. It is easily dyed to achieve the exact colour of choice.
silk gauze Silk is generally measured by "momme" instead of thread count. Momme (mm) is a Japanese unit of weight used to measure and describe silk fabrics. The higher the momme, the heavier the fabric.
